- iPhone with iOS 26 or later
- For synchronization: a device signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive enabled
- For AI suggestions: a device and region that support Apple Intelligence (optional – Golli works without it too)
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use Golli?
No. Golli requires no account and no sign-in. You can get started right away – even completely offline.
How does synchronization between my devices work?
Golli uses your private iCloud (Apple CloudKit). Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all devices and make sure iCloud is enabled for Golli (Settings › [your name] › iCloud). Your goals will then automatically appear on all devices. After changes, it may take a moment for synchronization to complete.
My data is not syncing – what can I do?
- Check that you are signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices.
- Check that iCloud Drive is active and Golli is allowed to use iCloud.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Briefly open the app in the foreground – synchronization will start again.
- Restarting the device resolves rare sync hang-ups.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your content resides on your device and in your private iCloud database. As the provider, we have no access to it; there is no tracking and no advertising. You can find details in our privacy policy.
The AI suggestions are not appearing. Why?
The AI suggestions run via Apple Intelligence directly on your device. They are only available if your device and region support Apple Intelligence and the feature is enabled in the iOS Settings. If that is not the case, you can still use all of Golli's features fully manually.
How do I enable reminders?
Allow Golli to send notifications on first launch (or later under Settings › Golli › Notifications). Golli will then schedule local reminders for due or stalled goals as well as a weekly review. You can revoke the permission at any time.
Can I add goal deadlines to my calendar?
Yes, optionally. If you allow calendar access, Golli can write deadlines as events to your calendar. You can change the access at any time under Settings › Golli › Calendar.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual goals or entries directly in the app. To remove all data, uninstall the app and remove the associated iCloud data in your device's iCloud settings. Since we do not store any data about you, nothing further is required.
Does Golli work without internet?
Yes. Golli works fully offline. Synchronization via iCloud resumes as soon as a connection is available again.
